Fullmetal Alchemist - Al Bag/Purse

I found this pattern online from djonesgirlz (on Craftster, I'd suggest you join)...it's called the Chibi Al Bag, and it's great. I tweaked the pattern a bit, because my problem seems to lie in how tight I make my stitches. I've found a method that works for me, but I still have to adjust almost all of the patterns I find as a result of it. *shrugs* I did several things differently with this one, and I added many new details. The bag I made is larger, and I had to adjust many of the details to accommodate it. I love how he turned out, but you may want to leave him simpler than I did. After all, simplest is best in some cases...but that's for you to decide. :)

Anyway, here he is.

Being used as my purse...yeah, the Sonic wallet is kickass. ;D

Alongside this bag, I created a pattern very similar (in miniature) with an overall different look. I use it to contain my DS games. In episode 13 of the original anime, Al finds a kitty...it's a little yellow striped kitty, and being a kitty, he is too adorable. :D:D And, here is my interpretation of him.

He's a very handy little guy...and here are a few action shots, because I just couldn't get enough of them. :P

Sorry for the slight blur in a couple of the pictures...and sorry there are so many of them. :3

Here's the pattern. You may have to become a member to view it, but it's well worth it if you're addicted to crafting:
